The Revol One DirectGrowth 5 is a single premium, multi-year guaranteed annuity with a five-year rate lock. After five years, owners can withdraw, transfer, annuitize, or renew their entire account balance.
If no action is taken at renewal, a new five-year term will begin with new surrender penalties. (This is the default.) However, owners may also choose a one-year fixed interest account, with a new declared rate, and no surrender charges or market value adjustment.
Two separate riders can be added to the contract at purchase. Each reduces the interest rate by 0.10% annually. The Free Partial Surrender Rider allows for free annual withdrawals. The Enhanced Death Benefit Rider waives surrender charges upon passing. Qualified and non-qualified funds are accepted.
This product is available in California and automatically includes the Enhanced Death Benefit Rider, reducing the rate by .10% annually.
