Low Plan Premiums & Comprehensive Benefits

Sometimes you’ll hear the phrase “trading dollars” when it comes to dental insurance coverage. In other words, you pay the insurance company to pay your provider, but you don’t necessarily save money. That’s not the case with Dental Dental policies.

Premiums are affordable and benefits are robust. The preventive coverage plan is approximately $17 per month. It includes two cleanings, x-rays, and fluoride treatment with no copays or deductibles.

The next two plans cover preventive, basic, and major services. They both have a $50 deductible. Premiums range from approximately $38 – $50 per month.

Plan maximums range from $1,000 -$1,200 per year. The percentage the insurance company pays towards cavities, crowns, root canals, bridges, etc. will depend on the plan. Orthodontics are not covered under any plan. We have others to consider if that’s a need for your family.

Policies provide more benefits in year 2 than in year 1. It’s always a good idea to buy coverage before a big need arises.

Assuming you take advantage of these benefits, you’ll very likely save money than by going without coverage.

No Waiting Periods - Immediate Coverage

Delta DentalOnce purchased, all Delta Dental plans begin coverage on the first of the next month.

And there are no waiting periods for preventive, basic, or major services. Your benefits begin right away.

That’s different than most other dental plans sold today. Most companies have waiting periods of 6 months for basic services and 12 months for major items. You save money when your benefits begin immediately.

And with Delta, your plan pays an even higher percentage in year 2 than in year 1. Graded benefits plans are beneficial for the long haul. It’s helpful when your insurance company covers even more after year 1.
