Talk With Our Independent Health Insurance Agents

Health Insurance CoverageYou can always work with one of our knowledgeable agents to help you narrow down your options, but if you would rather view direct quotes on your own – please feel free to use the links above.

There are no markups or added costs – the quotes generated from the links above are the lowest prices online. If you qualify for a tax credit or federal subsidy, we can also help you apply for insurance on the federal exchange while better understanding your options.

Health insurance prices are controlled by law, so you will not find better rates for the same insurance anywhere else on the Internet, in person or by calling each company yourself. We can also help with ancillary products like dental and vision insurance.

You may have questions as much has changed with health insurance coverage due to the new Obamacare rules, so please feel free to give us a call if you would like personal service.

Health Insurance Tax Credits And Subsidies

We work with insurance plans both on and off the Federal Health Insurance Exchange. If your income and family size allows for a tax credit, we can help you find and enroll in government subsidized coverage that best fits your needs.

Tax credit amounts will differ from family to family and are based on the number of insureds and your estimated yearly income. The subsidies are an advanced credit – so it’s best to keep track of your income through the year in case you underestimated your take-home pay. The government can claw-back credits if you earned more than you thought.

Avoid The Health Care Law Penalties – Buy Insurance

All of our plans offer the Minimum Essential Coverage benefits as required under the Affordable Care Act. There are various metals to describe each plan (Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum) and we offer them all.

If you don’t have a qualified health plan for 2016, you may be subject to a (shared responsibility) fee. You will owe the higher of 2.5% of your household income or $695 per person ($347.50 per child under age 18). This amount will be due when you file your taxes.

According to Health and Human Services, 11.7 million people have enrolled in Marketplace health coverage either on the federal or state exchanges as of 2015. This has brought the overall uninsured rate down to 11.9% in America. Of the 11.7 million enrollees, approximately 87% qualified for a tax credit. Approximately 11 million more people qualified for coverage due to expanded Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) plans.

It’s important to note that you can only apply and receive a tax credit by applying on the federal exchange. You can window-shop and estimate your premium credit by entering some basic information about your household here. If you are unsure, we can walk you through the process online together.
