For those who are age 65 (or older) or eligible for Medicare due to disability, we can help you compare all of your Humana Medicare insurance options. We offer traditional Medicare supplements like Plans F, G, & N as well as Medicare Advantage coverage.
We can also help you understand the differences between traditional Medicare supplements and Medicare Advantage plans so you can enroll in the coverage that best suits your needs and budget.
By rule, you cannot be enrolled in both a Medicare supplement and Advantage insurance plan at the same time, so it is wise to talk with one of our agents so you know the pros and cons of both types of coverage before purchase.
Should you choose a Humana Medicare supplement plan, you will likely need a prescription Part D drug plan as well. Their Part D plan with Walmart is very popular in terms of price and benefits – keep reading below.
Part D drug prescription coverage is a stand-alone insurance policy that is usually paired with a Medicare supplement plan. Most insurance companies offering Part D coverage offer two or three plans to choose from – Humana offers two.
For 2017, the Humana Walmart Part D drug plan is very popular. It is available in most parts of the country and only costs between $15 and $17 a month depending on where you live. That’s one of the lowest rates available. For those on few prescriptions or none at all, this coverage can provide significant yearly savings while also avoiding the Part D late enrollment penalty.
There is a $400 deductible with this coverage, but that amount does not apply to Tier 1 and 2 generic drugs. In other words, you will not need to first pay the $400 deductible in order to save on Tier 1 and 2 prescriptions.
Humana also offers several dental and vision plans to choose from. You can view quotes simply by clicking on the logo at the top of this page. Dental and/or vision insurance can be purchased on a stand-alone basis or as part of a health insurance plan.
There are not very many carriers who offer stand-alone vision insurance. Humana is unique in that respect. Their stand alone vision coverage is inexpensive and comprehensive. We will be happy to provide you with a brochure outlining the details of Humana’s dental and vision plans.
We offer Humana health insurance, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage, prescription Part D drug, dental and vision insurance plans direct to you. There are no additional fees to use our services. Contact us today to learn more.
