The Revol One DirectGrowth 10 is a single-premium, multi-year guaranteed annuity with a ten-year rate lock. After ten years, owners can withdraw, transfer, annuitize, or renew their entire account balance.
If no action is taken at renewal, a new ten-year term will begin with new surrender penalties. (This is the default.) However, owners may also choose a one-year fixed interest account, with a new declared rate, and no surrender charges or market value adjustment.
Two separate riders can be added to the contract at the time of purchase. Each reduces the interest rate by 0.10% annually. The Free Partial Surrender Rider allows for free annual interest withdrawals. The Enhanced Death Benefit Rider waives surrender charges upon passing. Qualified and non-qualified funds are accepted. Unlike the 3-, 5-, and 7-year policies, the 10-year version is not available in the state of California.

Notable Features
Terminal Illness and Nursing Home riders are both included when the Enhanced Death Benefit Rider is elected. The contract includes an MVA provision and can be annuitized at renewal for a guaranteed income stream. The full accumulated value at death is only available to the contract’s beneficiaries if the EDB rider is added.

There are only low minimums required to start, and very competitive fixed rates nationwide. Owners can tailor their contract to meet their investment needs by adding one or both of the product riders. The contract does not automatically renew at maturity if the one-year account is selected at renewal. This allows for greater liquidity and flexibility after the term is over. This is a ten-year plan allowing for a long-term rate lock with a fair surrender schedule.
