The Jackson National Life RateProtector 7 is a single premium, fixed annuity with a seven-year rate guarantee and an MVA. After seven years, owners have a 30-day window to withdraw, transfer, or reinvest their entire account balance. If no action is taken, a one year rate is declared, but the annuity remains penalty-free and completely liquid.
Two rate bands are available. The highest rate applies to amounts above $100,000, while lower rates apply to deposits of $10,000-$99,999. Qualified and non-qualified funds are accepted. This policy is RMD-friendly for IRA holders. There are no surrender charges at death. An optional non-qualified stretch payout option is available for named beneficiaries.
