The Guaranty Rate Lock 9 is a single premium, fixed annuity with a nine-year rate lock. After nine years, owners have a 30 days window to withdraw, transfer, reinvest, or annuitize their entire account balance. If no action is taken, a new 9 yr term begins.
Three rate bands are available. The highest rates are for deposits over $100K. Lower crediting rates are for amounts between $10K – $99.9K. Qualified and non-qualified funds are accepted. Joint ownership is allowed. There are no surrender charges at death.
