The Fidelity & Guaranty FG Guarantee Platinum 5 is a single-premium, fixed annuity with a three-year rate lock. After three years, owners have a 30-day window to withdraw, transfer, or renew their full account value. If no action is taken, a new three-year term will begin with the same surrender schedule.
Free interest and RMD withdrawals are allowed without penalty. There are no surrender penalties at death, and spousal continuance options are allowed.
This policy accepts both qualified and non-qualified deposits, including IRA transfers, rollovers, Roth IRAs, conversions, and 1035 tax-free exchanges, among other types of deposits. It also includes an MVA provision.
