The AuguStar Lunar Lock 7 is a single-premium, fixed annuity with a seven-year guaranteed rate lock. After 7 years, owners have a 30-day window to withdraw or reinvest their total account balance. If no action is taken, then a new term with a new surrender schedule begins.
Two rate bands are offered, with the highest interest rate for deposits above $100K. Qualified and non-qualified funds are accepted, including 1035 exchanges, IRA transfers, rollovers, Roth IRAs, inherited accounts, and non-qualified stretch funds.
Free 10% withdrawals are available in all years, including Required Minimum Distributions for IRA owners. This annuity can be purchased with or without a Market Value Adjustment. There are no surrender charges at passing.
