The Athene Max Rate 7 is a flexible premium, fixed annuity with a seven-year rate guarantee. Initial funds receive the seven-year rate lock, but additional funds can be added at a declared one-year rate guarantee.
At the end of the seven-year term, owners can withdraw, transfer, or reinvest their full account value. If no action is taken, the full accumulated value is transferred into the one-year fixed strategy and all funds are completely liquid and surrender-free.
Lower rates are available on deposits between $10K-$99.9K. Some yearly crediting rates are state-specific and can be slightly lower. There are no surrender charges upon passing. Free interest withdrawals are available every year.
