The Heartland National Secure Rate 10 is a single premium, fixed annuity with a ten-year rate guarantee. It allows for accumulated interest withdrawals after 30 days and includes a surrender-free death benefit. The contract also includes a Market Value Adjustment. Upon maturity, owners have a 30-day window to withdraw, transfer, or renew their full account value. If no action is taken, the contract will renew for a new ten-year guaranteed fixed annuity term with a new surrender schedule. This account accepts both qualified and non-qualified deposits. If desired, two unique withdrawal riders (described below) can be added at the onset of the contract. They would each reduce the yearly interest rate accordingly.AM Best Rating
