The Atlantic Coast Life Safe Harbor 6 is a single premium, simple interest annuity with a six-year rate guarantee. After six years, owners have a 30-day window to withdraw, transfer, or renew their full policy value. If no action is taken, a new term will begin. There are no free withdrawal riders offered. A Death Benefit Feature can be added which reduces the yearly rate by 0.25%. It allows for a surrender-free annuity value upon passing. Ownership between the ages of 86-90 is allowed, but the death benefit feature must be added. Offered with a higher initial rate and a 1% premium bonus, this contract is designed primarily for growth. If income or regular withdrawals are desired, their Safe Haven 6 annuity can be a better choice. The rate below reflects the compounding equivalent level rate for easier comparisons.
