The Sentinel Security Life Personal Choice Annuity 7 is a single premium, fixed annuity with a seven-year rate guarantee. After seven years, owners have a 30-day window to withdraw, transfer, or renew their full policy value. If no action is taken, a new term will begin.
This contract is offered with a higher initial interest rate. It allows consumers to add different liquidity riders to fit their needs. Free interest withdrawals, 10% account value withdrawals, penalty-free RMDs, and full accumulated value at death are the most common optional riders. Adding any of these liquidity riders reduces the annual interest rate for all years.
Qualified and non-qualified funds are accepted. Interest rates in California and Minnesota are lower by .20%, while rates in Florida are reduced by .10%, due to required liquidity features. Residents of those states should contact us for more information.
